| | | Driving from Lanark: Head out of Lanark on the A706 (signposted Linlithgow), the junction across from Bank of Scotland/YMCA on main road through Lanark, 100 yards down hill from main high street. Follow this road for approximately 3 miles, over a narrow bridge with traffic lights and across a level crossing. Approx. 300 yards beyond the level crossing, you will see our signpost at the road end on the right. Turn right at the signpost and drive for approx. ½ mile, you will soon see the ponds and our shop/café a bit further on.
Driving from Carluke: Head out of Carluke on the A721 (signposted Peebles). Follow this road for approx 5 miles until you reach Harelaw Roundabout. Head right at the roundabout and follow that road for approx 1 mile until you see our signpost at the road end on the left. Turn left at the signpost and drive for approx. ½ mile, you will soon see the ponds and our shop/café a bit further on.
By public transport: Take a train to Lanark. There is a bus service to Carnwath which connects with the train. Get off the bus at Ravenstruther Village Hall. Across the main road from the hall is a small road (to Cleghorn). Head up this road and then take the road immediately on the right. At the end of this road go over the railway footbridge and carry on down the road. The shop/café is approx 50 yds beyond the footbridge. |
