| Newmill regular, Walter Hill, hooked this healthy Rainbow which gave a great 20 minute fight. After taking Walters line all over the pond, this beauty was eventually landed just as dusk approached. |

| Regular coarse fisher, and season ticket holder, Kevin Muir, caught another great fish on 18-Oct-07. This Common Carp, caught on 6lb mainline with a size 12 hook and sweetcorn, which gave a great fight, weighed in at 16lb. As you can see from the picture, Kevin was happy to land it. |

| Paul Clilverd and son had a great night on the coarse pond on 12-Oct-07 when he landed a 2lb Tench, a 12lb Mirror Carp, a 17lb Common Carp and a 2lb Crucian Carp, amongst others. The mirror was caught on a maggot and the common was caught on meat. |

| Kevin Muir had a great night on our coarse pond on 24-Sep-07 when he caught this 9lb common carp (pictured) with sweetcorn on size 12 hook and 6lb line. On the same night Kevin also landed a 6lb 4oz mirror carp on a maggot waggler, 4lb line and size 16 hook. |

| The sun was certainly shining on Gary Edgar who caught this 16lb 4oz Common Carp, during a visit to our coarse pond while holidaying in Scotland. The fish fell to a waggler fished maggot on a size 16 hook! |

| Bob landed this 7lb rainbow almost a soon as he set up on the morning of 06-Sep-07, much to the annoyance of his fishing buddy Sam Johnstone whose biggest so far this year is a 6 1/2lb rainbow (see below). Well done Bob, you're in the lead. Come on Sam - see if you can beat it before the year's out! |

| Local expert fly fisher Tarara (John O'Hara) from Shotts brought in this Grayling which he caught in the Tweed on 17-Jan-07. Tarara is the current holder of the Scottish Grayling Record with a 3lb 1oz 8dr which he caught in the Tweed back in Feb-94 (Scottish Federation for Coarse Angling) . He has smashed his own record with this one!! |

| One of our regular coarse anglers, Stevie Walker from Lanark, landed this fine carp late on Saturday night (13-Jan-07). The late night in the freezing cold, paid off for this young angler, who got to show off Stevie's catch, and get his photo on the web-site. |

| Jim Henderson from Carnwath caught this fine looking rainbow on a hairy black bibio. The fish took some time to come up, but when it eventually leapt out of the water, looking more like a salmon, Jim realised that his 7 weight rod and 6 weight line might not hold out. After much playing, the strong fish was finally brought in to the edge, and after borrowing a bigger landing net from another angler, Jim managed to land it. Well done, Jim!! |

| Ian Millar from East Calder had a good day on Sunday 26-Nov-06, when he landed this fine 7 and 1/2 lb trout. It was caught on a black and red tadpole, and was brought in after putting up a good fight. Ian's mate Hugh (below) also had a good catch. |
